Taiwan Day1 Making to know the new gem of asia

Spirited Away is the initiative of the trip.

My Taipei trip was inspired by the ghibli's movie, "spirited away". I am so in love with this movie and this is how my trip has started.
I had not much time to plan for the trip and my companies would not love to do adventure as much as I want them to, so ended up we traveled mostly within Taipei. Anyway, it brings joy to us a lot!

After arrived at Thaoyuan International Airport, we took a bus to "Taipei main station", 125 TWN, around 45 minutes from the airport. (Soon will have MRT service for passengers directly from the airport thru city.)

I love public transportation in Taiwan so much, it makes our lives so convenience! subway and bus can take you to anyway, so it makes travelers go around town easily. I also love that they provide us the stamp to collect in every MRT stations, each station has its own kind of symbolic represent to its area, It's fun! Try to collect them all!

Our hotel is in the middle of well known shopping zone, only 300 m. from ximending station. We have started to explore Taipei by walking around, we did window shopping just to see what we want to come back for another time and because we didnt have breakfast so we planned to try a must Shabu in Taipei, Mara Yuanyang Hotpot.

We amazed with the buffet lines and drinks they providing, more than amazing! Do not miss! After all space in our stomach has filled we moved out from the restaurant, but we spent 2hrs exactly with this shabu!

After we had enough energy we start our journey! Elephant Mountain is the next destination, it's a bit confused how to be there, but we managed it. Thank god we had big meal before we climb up this mountain. Only one suggestion, bring mosquito spray with you!

After we had wonderful moment (and enough air in our lungs) we went to another interesting place It has Ghibli Exhibitions at that time in the shopping store, on basement. We had an amazing time there like we travel to Ghibli's world . Yes you know I'm a big fan of Spirited away ><
